With Christmas in less than two weeks, we thought we’d put together a list of great gifts for seniors. The following list consists of items that are not only functional, but also wonderful things to receive.

Wireless headphone system- Great for someone who is hard of hearing- Many headphone systems are programmable with a television, allowing your loved one to enjoy thier favorite tv program.

Motion sensor light switch- Allows your loved one to turn on the light simply by walking in front of the light switch.

Roomba robotic vacuum- This automatic vacuum is easy to set up and can vacuum your loved ones floors on a daily basis.

Sock aid- Takes away your loved ones stress in having to bend over to put on socks.
Car swivel seat/Travel aids- The swivel seat allows your loved one to easily get in and out of a vehicle, while a travel aid can be used to help steady them.
Photo Phones- This is a landline phone but rather than having to look for and dial a phone number or remember who is on which speed dial number, your loved one can simply push the button next to the picture of the contact on their phone.
Soup and cracker bowl set
Induction cooktop- These are great because the top of the cooktop does not get hot which not only helps to reduce the risk of burns, but if your loved one accidentally leaves the cooktop on, it’s not going to start a fire.
Smart shopper grocery list organizer- Your loved one speaks to the grocery organizer to create a grocery list. This is a great way to ensure nothing is forgotten at the grocery store.
Meal delivery service- There are a few different services in the Tucson/Green Valley area that deliver either weekly or individual meals to seniors.
